San Antonio MasterSingers Announce 2025–26 Season Auditions for August 16 and 23

The San Antonio MasterSingers are inviting vocalists to audition for their upcoming 2025–26 concert season.

Auditions are scheduled for Friday, August 16, at 7:00 PM, and Saturday, August 23, at 10:00 AM.

Both sessions will be held in the choir room at Trinity University's Porter Memorial Library.

Prospective members will be evaluated by the chorus leadership team.

Each audition will include a brief vocal warm-up, a prepared solo piece in any style, and a simple sight-reading exercise.

While classical choral experience is beneficial, singers from all musical backgrounds are encouraged to try out.

Successful candidates will be expected to learn selections from the season's repertoire, which spans from Baroque motets to contemporary choral works, in preparation for rehearsals beginning in early September.

Membership in the MasterSingers offers opportunities to perform in three major concerts at esteemed local venues such as St. Mark's Episcopal Church and the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.

Additional benefits include sectional coaching, discounted music scores, and invitations to social events that foster community among singers.
